After a nearly five-year run, Proof Barbeque will be closing after service on Sunday, February 1st.

Since opening in March 2020, we’ve been grateful for the support that carried us through a pandemic launch, a move between our two locations in Tremont and Ohio City, and countless meals and drinks along the way.

Like many independent restaurants, we’ve faced ongoing economic challenges and changing circumstances that factored into this decision.

We’d love to welcome you in for one last round of drinks or your favorite menu items. Gift cards will be honored through our final day.

To our staff: thank you for everything you put into making Proof what it is.

Finally, we’re hopeful that our building—with its award-winning architectural design—will find its way into the hands of another restaurateur, allowing this space to serve the city in a new way.
